What is Improv?
Improv is short for improvisation; it is a form of live theatre, often comedy, in which the characters and dialogue of a scene are made up as you go along - no scripts! Programming will be inspired by the teacher’s Tokyo and New York City improv training, as well as Whose Line Is It Anyway?
What is Community Improv?
Community Improv, as I see it, is offering the community a multi-leveled improv experience. Beginners mix with seasoned improvisers and I side coach scenes and games as needed. As a mixed group, we all gain from each other’s input to create a nurturing environment where we all learn and grow from what each individual brings to the table.
Do I have to be funny?
